Gives you suggestions right from the start of the consultation and is not merely handing you magazines or doesn't bother asking you any questions about what you want. Is well groomed and looks up to date with their appearance. Good training. Has motivation to go to educational and industry events on a regular basis.
A stylist is about fashion, beauty, and, well, style! How a stylist presents himself or herself can be indicative of the talents and motivation of that of that person to make his or her clients look their best. So if you are looking for a trendy, modern stylist, you can tell by the stylist's hair, clothes, and personality. Ask what kind of training they have had. It also never hurts ask them where else they have worked. |
